My 30k service
So now, i got 38k on my g. I need to get the major service done. My dealer said 700 dollars for it last time i was there. So i told him just do the regular oil service. I think i may have found a good shop to do my service at. They wont charge me much and i think they may even do a better job. I am scheduled for it this sat. If they do a good job i ll let you guys know the name of the shop. Its here in so cal.

According to the Premium Maintenance Schedule for my 2009 coupe - the 30K service includes draining\flushing a good deal of fluids in the car. If you go that route, I could see it getting pricey, especially at the dealership.
I only have 4000 miles on my coupe so far, so I have some time to decide whether to follow schedule 1 or Premium maintenance...I'm really interested in what others are doing when they hit 30K.
Premium Maintenance (30,000 miles or 24 months)
- Replace engine oil and filter
- Lubricate all locks/hinges
- Replace automatic transmission fluid (except 7-speed automatic transmission)
- Replace climate controlled seat filter (M45/M35/FX50/FX35, if so
equipped)
- Replace differential oil
- Replace engine air filter
- Replace engine coolant/flush system
- Replace engine drive belts
- Replace in-cabin microfilter
- Replace manual transmission oil
- Replace radiator cap
- Replace transfer case oil (4WD/AWD)
- Replace wiper blades
- Rotate tires (except G35 Sedan 2WD Sport and G37 Coupe 2WD Sport)
- Optional: flush automatic transmission (flush with ATF)
- Inspect the following:
__ All lights
__ Axle & suspension parts
__ Brake lines & cables
__ Brake calipers, pads, rotors
__ Brake light & cruise control
switches2
__ Drive shaft boots (4WD/AWD)
__ Exhaust system
