I got a leak!

So i have noticed this leak. It starts to drip/leak after the car is off, and I usually notice it after its been parked for a while. I had an oil change last week and nothing was told to me about a leak.

Its in the back, left of the passenger side front tire.... Here are some photos that hopefully help....

Any thoughts?

If this only happens when you've run the air conditioning, it is normal. The process of cooling the air removes moisture because cooler air can't hold as much moisture as hot air. The excess moisture collects in the a/c evaporator and drier and gets let out a drain port.

In other words, it's probably normal. You can call the dealer service department and ask them about it if you think it's excessive, but the pictures you posted don't seem to indicate that.

Yeah, do you know that it's actually oil, it could just be dirty water. Which would just be like what was mentioned above.

Did you stick a finger in it and if so is it watery or oily/slippery?
This is a puddle that you have never seen before?

I don't see anything.

As others said, if it's clear it's the AC. Mine makes a huge puddle.

Do the taste test, only way to be sure what it is.

Rookies,

If you have an unidentified "leak" (not normal A/C condensation like this seems to be), place an old white sheet on the ground where you will park overnight. In the morning when you move the car you will be able to tell the color of the fluid, the smell if any, whether it's oily or not, and how much it leaks overnight. This is a very old trick that will help you and the mechanic diagnose what it may be.
