Your transmission is slipping? Or you do mean doing burn outs?
If you mean it is not burning out as much, it is because your tires are worn in. Brand new tires have a slick oily outer layer. After you wear into them, you will be getting more traction.
Any why the hell are you using 98 octane. Huge waste of money. Your car only needs 91. Using higher octane does nothing at all for your car unless you are specially tuned for it.

Higher octane number means it can handle more compression before exploding (usually used with high boosts or high compression engines).. I believe you'll have to have a pretuned map for that specific fuel otherwise it's a waste of money as myBuddiee said
Now back to topic,
jjn, you did a dyno back when your tires slipped easiers, you can always do another dyno run and compare
