Troubleshoot this...

1. Put you car to the on position without switching on the car.
2. Pop you hood and go outside and open it
3. Lean towards the engine... do you hear a constant electrical hum ? its actually quite loud
4. Leave the engine hood opened, go sit back in you car. Now you wont hear it.

Just wondering what that hum is /??

Nothing to troubleshoot - the noise you are hearing is normal as it is just the various systems doing their thing. No worries.

probably various system checks related to hydraulics and other actuators.

VVEL motor operation. Take it to the dealer to check for bulletins. See if your VIN falls in the range. If so they will update ECM programming and possibly put the Nissan ester oil in it. Only to have the noise still be there. Nissa....I mean Infiniti is working on a fix.
