I'm just going to make a wild guess that's probably completely off...

I'd say at least $150 with labor. You know how those dealerships are. If it's any cheaper than that, I'd be very surprised.

I can tell you that it costs $123.47 parts and labor. Don't ask how I know this...

Haha, I wasn't too far off. I guess $123.47 isn't bad at all. But I'd imagine it might be a bit more expensive in California since they may charge a higher labor rate, not to mention higher taxes than they do in Ohio.

well last night when pumping gas i got distracted and left the fuel door open. when i got in my car i saw through my side mirror that it was open. So i told my girl if she can close it for me being that the door is on her side. I guess because it was dark she accidently pushed or pulled to the other side and broke off the plastic hinge completely off. So right now i dont have a fuel door just the fuel cap.

I had a similar thing happen to me, I didn't close the door before going through a carwash, stupid decision. Anyway I was able to get a brand new painted fuel door for 73.00 plush shipping from infinitipartsusa.com it came painted black and I was able to install it myself in 5 minutes. Total cost was about 80.00.

No need to pay for labor, open the box, there are two screws and thats about it.

If I were you in the mean time I would buy a locking gas cap .

Yeah don't waste the 50.00. Get it from infiniti parts usa and if they wont do it at the price for some reason, show them this receipt and they will have to match it. And I have no knowledge when it comes to doing anything to my car, but changing out the door was so simple, it took a phillips head and literally 3 minutes.
