well last night when pumping gas i got distracted and left the fuel door open. when i got in my car i saw through my side mirror that it was open. So i told my girl if she can close it for me being that the door is on her side. I guess because it was dark she accidently pushed or pulled to the other side and broke off the plastic hinge completely off. So right now i dont have a fuel door just the fuel cap.
eye for an eye.... sorry g/f.... lesson learned.
I assume you don't open her car door for her?

Does your GF know you are dumping this on her? I mean really just be a man and fess up. You got a little ahead of yourself and forgot to remove the nozzle before you drove away. There don't you feel better now? 
But really it didn't tweak the quarter panel or anything? If not if you buy the part double check to see if it comes pre painted. Alot of body parts have to be squirted at a trust worthy paint shop.
