Garage door owned my G

If you don't want to deal with the headache yourself, try subrogation through your own ins co. You will still need to make sure that you have enough evidence and documentation to support your case however.

damn that sucks bro. since its the door fault for malfunctioning i would contact the building owner and most likely hire a lawyer to represent you. they should have some security cameras pointing at the door to prove what happened besides just your pics. it will come down to a you vs him argument but like people said, all you can do is document it the best you can. best of luck!

I had the same thing happen to me at my last apartment with my previous car (jeep cherokee).
The building's insurance paid for all the damages and the car was still perfectly in working order so I kept the money and sold the vehicle privately with the damages. I bought my G right after that =)
Hopefully it'll all work out for you.

That's alot of damage and by the looks of it you should know that, that far exceeds your detuctable. Always get a police report. Then call your insurance right away. Guy at my job scrathed my left mirror and I had no problem filing a report. Your insurance company will go After the buildings insurnace company.

^^ what good is a sensor if the spring breaks???? the full weight of the garage door comes crashing down. it happened to my garage door once. the garage is like 40 times heavier without the spring.
