Looks like most posts here are the 'ol sedan / coupe debate and this is the coupe forum. ;-)

About the rear seat room in the G coupe. I've been a passenger in the back of a modded G coupe. It was way more fun than riding in the back cabin of a Fleetwood. ;-)

Maybe the OP should let us know if he is still looking for hot chicks or if he has found one already. :-) Is this going to one car in a stable or the full time ride? Does he need to present a certain image for his profession or for young potential GF's?

I'll agree that Maximas and 370Z's are also options. I've owned Z's in the past and loved 'um. But, now I'm into the advantages of the sedan. However, I didn't compare the sedan against the G coupe. I compared it to the CTS, 5 series BMW, E class Merc, TL SH, and Audi. Design, resale, build quality, and performance were key to me. Infiniti G's, coupe or sedan deserve their acclaim in my opinion.

i love it but its not that practical..... In 2 years of ownership only 2 people have ridden in the back (too cramped). The trunk isn't big enough (i buy lots of groceries). The coupe is the reason my next vehicle will be an X5. But dont get me wrong. I adore my coupe and will so until its lease is up. Then the bitch will be dead to me.

Thanks for all the replies, they are much appreciated. The car would definitely be for me. As for the hot chick - lets just say I spend some time with one but I'm fully open to meeting others. I'm pretty sure the coupe would work for me.

As for the person who suggested the CTS, I actually looked at that as well. I think if for some reason I decide to go sedan I will go CTS, but as of now it looks like I'm going G37 Coupe.

Sedan wise. The CTS is beyond beautiful. Especially with the piano black interior.

But good choice on the coupe. There is acouple for sale on here if you want to save some money on a used one

I can get two staff bags in the trunk but, the woods go in the back seat along with a couple of duffel bags. Friend and I are heading to Lake Tahoe for our annual five days of golf with fourteen of our buds.( No squaws allowed!) Looking forward to the fun and dreading the hang overs already!

Can I add another question?

I'm considering getting a G37 coupe but I'm also concerned about the trunk space. Is it possible to fit large suitcase(s) into the trunk?

Also, does anyone have the dimensions of the trunk? Specifically how deep/ shallow is the pass through to the back seats?

Thanks

The trunk in a Coupe is not deep enough for a large suitecase.

The sedan can take only one large one.

The coupe is not practical.

If you're looking for a car that can haul passengers and their gear, then you're looking at the wrong car.

It's not that practical, but if you want practical get a sedan. At least it's more practical than the 370Z, 2 more seats, larger trunk, smoother ride, sunroof, better looking, and more luxurious.

3 guys and their golf bags wont fit - thats a given.

as for how practical a coupe is, i treat mine like a freaking pickup sometimes. some things ive fit with the back seat down:

- my whole closet worth of clothes moving from st louis to jax
- 2 or 3 different full catback exhaust systems
- entire rear bumper and bumper brace - after they were damaged of course
- 15+ cases of beer in just 1 layer so there wasnt any sliding around

like people said though, you have to realize the trunk is shallow. for large items, i stick to the putting the back seat down but that limits passengers to 2. i dont use my car like a bus so no worries for me.
