Problem w my Grubbs Spoiler
So, I got my Grubbs spoiler and installed it, and the left half of the brake lights dont work Anyone else have this problem? I'm waiting for a call back from Grubbs to see what are going to do about it. But the issue is that its already installed with the tape, and the only to fix it will be to unstick it and take everything out and reinstall. I'm not happy. But hey-it looks good... as long as I'm not braking =)

You may have to send it back for a replacement... if its on with 3m tape... you'll have to use ye ole de-badge method to get that wing off. Fishing line for sure. I'd be upset too!

Actually its my one and only =)
I had to leave the chrome piece on since I have the camera. I'm leaving the ghetto brake light on until I get a replacement so driving wont be an issue. Its on there-tape and all, so I'll live with it until I can fix it.
On the bright side I was driving down Kapiolani today and someone hung their head out the window to tell me I had a nice car

Grubbs looks just like the OEM, you will not be able to see a difference.
It is a LED problem, it will have to be replaced. Sadly that does mean removing all the 3M tape and applying more.
I actually had to take mine off and reapply due to fitment. Use a heat gun and it will come off pretty easy. Then some goo gone to remove any residue. Apply new 3M tape and you are good to go.

WOW! I would be so pissed too! -1 for Grubbs, it probably left their place like that, they must not be checking all of the led strips. Best way to get that heated up for removal is to park it in the hot sun for a couple of hours. A heat gun is good for emblems but will take a long time on a large piece like that, easier to use the sun.
The new Grubbs look like OEM, the first ones were noticeably larger.
Heads up for future Grubbs installs, better check the led strip first, just to be safe!
