I got my 6MT Sport back in January. I have about 16K miles on it now. I was a little disappointed in the low end speed of the car (I came from a 05 Mustang GT). I swear at about 12K miles, the car seemed to wake up? I really noticed chirping the tires was pretty easy to do as compared to before. The summer tires only have like 10K miles on them. Who knows, it could all be in my head, I am a little more pleased with it though. that's all that matters.
Give it time, or MOD it up if you cant wait.

i notice something similar.
I find that i don't have the same accel all of the time. Sometimes it seems to pull much harder than others.
same tank of gas
similar weather temps (i have tried them all)
full tank of gas
for instance, it will pull slow in 2nd and 3rd, but then i go up a steap hill and accel faster than i did on the flat? I thought maybe it was my clutch slipping :S
of course if i take it to infinity, they are gonna tell me to reproduce the problem, and it will haul *** :S
I really feel that sometimes the car is really fast, and really slow other times. :S

Here is a quick way to reset your ECU. It is also known to clear codes thrown, and turn off the "Service Engine Soon" Light. It's a little tricky, but works.

Yes, the car slower in hot temps. This motor runs very hot under the hood and will pull timing in hot temps. Ever notice your car feels quicker during the first few miles of driving? Throttle response is better in the first few miles too.
Every car I've owned gets slower in hot weather. That's why I avoid the track in the summer. You will get better ET's and higher trap speeds in the spring or fall.
I came from an '07 Mustang GT. The G just doesn't have the same low-end or mid-range torque. I knew that going in. The VQ motor is also buttery smooth. When I hammered my Mustang, vibration was felt throughout the car. The G is quiet and smooth until the last 1000 rpms of the rev range (it gets a little harsh up top). It's 330 hp. and 3600 lbs. That's 10.9-11 lbs. per horsepower. That's pretty good compared to many cars on the road.
