Ok, so I don't want the convertible anymore. Useless back seats, nonexistent trunk w/ top down, awkward looking from the rear, and looks like a Pontiac G6 convertible w/ the top up. I'll save some more cash and get the twin turbo.

I was actually at a dealership which had a BO with red seats. It was listed as an option on the sticker.

Still have mixed feelings on it too. There was a white one which looked hot but the black one didnt.

 

my jedi mind trick worked...i should have asked for money.

I actually had the exact same idea. I went to the dealer and asked about trading in my 08 coupe for a 09 convertible. They wanted my car PLUS 32k.

 

IMO not worth the $$$ you're going to have to drop.

My 08 Journey G37s pretty much fully loaded, stickered at $44,020 I got it at invoice back then at $39,200. with 3200miles and 8 months later on, I realized the car didnt fit my baby stroller and wanted a G37 4dr. Boy was I pissed to find out the pos was only worth $28-31k..... I was actually quoted for $30k at the Infiniti Dealer, I asked them $44k original msrp? they said yeah, $30k... I said, only 3200miles.... they said, yeah, $30k . Not to sound mean, but I thought I got an infiniti, not a dodge.... I was so upset at the ridiculous trade in value. I ended up with a new Lexus IsF which I know for sure, holds its value better than the Infiniti. But beside the low trade in value part, I really like the Infiniti G37, best bang for the buck car.

Cars are generally depreciating assets and Infiniti dealers all seem to think that the Vert is the hottest thing since sliced bread. Most dealers arent discounting below sticker and there are no factory supported incentives like the coupe & sedans. The used car market is in the toilet and a trade in prior to catching up with the depreciation all equate to a bad time for this kind of transaction. Good luck!
