Shipping to Europe
Has anyone shipped their G 37, or know of someone how has shipped it to Europe and gone through the costs associated with specing the car to European standards? I was trying to get a better idea of the costs to ship/spec the car to drive in Europe. Any direction would help! Thanks guys

A container to Antwerp, Belgium is around $1500 (incl. taxes and cargo insurance) You may get a great deal if you find someone to share a container with. I have seen 4 cars in a container and it is very cheap. It looks ghetto though, and you might end up with scratches and dents after shipping using a load of 4.
if you plan on registering the G in the EU I would suggest to just get rid of it while still in the US and buy a 911 when you go there. You will save money.
Germany charges 20% VAT Tax, about 5-7% foreign import tax, and on top of it they have taxes per horsepower of the vehicle. It is just not worth it.

Well I shipped mine to England. Went through a garage in England that specializes in changing the car to UK/european standards. Cost me about $500 for the conversions. Plus $400 for light clusters with orange indicators which I had to purchase directly from Infiniti - this was last year and they're probably cheaper now. If you want more info just ask.
