Is this DEMO a lemon?
Guys, a newbie here, but a little worried about a demo I just picked up from the infinity dealership up here in Canada.
It has 11,000km (~7000mi)
1) I got worried and pulled a carfax report and the vehicle was originally GREY (not white) when it was registered at 6000km (~4000mi)!!! Now I'm really worried, but the paint job seems stock. The car is supposedly exective driven from Infinity Canada headquaters (was registered as a comerical car).
2) Also, is it just me or does the wheel well gap in the front look massive??? I can slide almost 4 fingers in the font, and barely 2 in the back. I have a G37 S Coupe.
Any input from anyone?

yeah, the fender gap is like that from factory, its crazy. For the vehicle color.. check the engine bay, and see if the door jambs, etc. are grey or white. I don't think they would do a paint job to change the whole color of the car just to hide a blemish or something.
The carfax is probably wrong?.. is that possible?

You are paranoid. The wheel gap is normal for a G37. Buy some lowering springs. You should be able to look closely and tell if your entire car has been painted. Ask your dealer about it. If they didn't disclose that it has been repainted you may have some recourse to return it if you want to.

check under all the seals and other places where it would be hard to paint.
which town are you from?? and it's not a demo, it's more of a used car (11K km), demo's are considered a new car sales

Sounds normal like everyone's saying.
Wheel gap is normal, look into Eibach's springs or some coilovers.
Check engine bay for paint match.

Another way to verify is to check the vehicle's ID plate located in the passenger side of the engine bay. Should be by the wheel well hump. The original color code should be there. like K57 = Amethyst Graphite....

Doesn't sound like a Lemon, but you could argue, you purchased a car that has already been repainted if you want some type of reimbursement. But the car doesn't have any mechanical problems that would qualify it as a Lemon. Just the question is honesty on the dealers part, they should have had to disclose to you if the car had been repainted or not.
