For those with kids may understand, you can't stop a kid from every thing. If I did that, it would be "no stop", "no you can't", no, no, no" and I don't think that is possible to say no to every thing.

So you pick what is appropriate and what is not. Or pick your battle, because with kids (or the wifee) you can't win every time. That's a good thing the wifee isn't has no interest on this forum..
Except one would think that "no playing in the car" would be a pretty big one to always enforce.
