Curse on my G

Well, to start the story, The G37 was my first new car and first lease. I treat it like its my baby, clean it every weekend, whipe it off every other day. I drive like a grandma sometimes, im not one of those guys who trys to go 80 in traffic. althought, my G is known to have a curse. I purchased it in apr 2008. Got hit with a minor fender bender in June and July, both not my fault. A couple nails in the tires from driving in Canoga Park, CA. (were I work) Might as well be a street filled with land mines. Dashboard peeled off on corners, and the gas tank not filling up has just started. But the other night finished the job. About 10pm, got ready to hit the sack and I hear a bang. At first I thought someone was breaking into a car on my street, so I ran out ready to kick someones @ss. When I got outside..... There is a green toyota sitting side ways smoking and my G moved 10 feet from were I parked it. (I have to park on a curb) I rushed to see the if the guy was ok, he came out dazzed. Had to call 911 for him. So the usual happens, peramedics show up to pick up the guy, police comes to do a report, and at the end of the night im sitting with my car which is pretty much looks dead. (Pics attached). So the next day, I do the one the the stupidist processes invented by man. Thats right, Stupidist. Talking to your Insurance company. You know, im a pro now since this already happened twice with this car, but something always goes wrong. So the tow truck comes to pick up my car.... and to add insult to injury. He loads my car using the ramp method... doing so once he got the car halfway on the ramp... he squishes my Megan exhaust in the process. I was holding a wrench and was standing near the car and it was too late before I can go... NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. I wanted to use that wrence for purposes other than taking nuts off. So, I got a question. Im leasing the car, to me.... when a car goes through what mine has.... they can fix what they want. But its never going to be the same. Im sure Infiniti cant ever certify it as a used car. Do you think there going to scrap it? So far I havent hurd anyting from the shop or my insurer. To think I was going to buy this at the end of the term.. not anymore!

^Thats all the matters, and I still dont know what happened to the other driver. Dont get me wrong, i love my car, although the only thing that gets me down is the process of going through an accident.... and driving a hybrid as a replacement -.-

If there's enough damage it'll be a write off, and hopefully your insurance has that new car depreciation protection thingamajig coverage and they'll write you a cheque for a new car.

Poor exhaust...

I think I got everything under the sun, even my agent cant believe what I have when he looked at my policy. So far no updates on the shop, prob will stop by after work. Im thinking about bringing a bill for 1 Megan exhaust to that tow truck company.

Thanks guys, glad I wasnt washing it either when he hit. lol. I do not know if he was under the influence, I could not smell anything and they halled him away kindof fast. I will find out as soon as I can get the police report. From what I can see, he was about 60ish in a business suit. He said he drifted away, so maybe he was working to late and fell asleep. Which is weird cause I am in a 25mph neighborhood with a T intersection stop sign 200ft from my house. Im still kindof hesitant about having this car fixed. I am going to call infiniti on monday and talk to them since now I know what is damaged. Technically this is their car after the lease is over, and there is no way they are going to certify this car. Has anyone been in this situation before with a leased car? You think they would want the car scrapped?

The impact was mostly on my rear wheel. What happened was he clipped me, but since my car is parked by a curb, and I bet our cars weigh 2x more this his car does = he loses. My car was pushed against the curb 10 feet from its original parking position. I did not hear any breaking so he had to hit going about 40 mph at least, cause his air bags went off.
