At 3 tanks of gas a week, he is obviously on the run. If anyone knows a safe house please PM him.

1150/month?? What???? Did you carry over a previous loan, or two?

Edmunds has a nice little calculator you can use. It's the "true cost to own" and I just ran an '09 G37 Coupe and it comes out to a little over $58,000 for 15,000 miles a year for FIVE years. So, the average is $11,600/yr or about $966/mo.

These numbers include finance, gas, insurance, etc. using averages and the numbers sound about right and actually seem low in my own experience. If a grand a month sounds like too high of an investment you can run the calculator for a more economical model to drive.

$1.2K a month for car payment I understand, get it paid quick. Less money wasted / profit for the bank.

But $1.2K for 6 mos of insurance??? Dang.... Hope you're coverage limits are like $750K-$1MM.

^ $200 a month for 6 months = 1200. Thats not too unreasonable if you break it down.

I see. I guess I can afford it but im gonna have to sacrifice a few other things ( hate being a student and not making a lot of money >.< )

To Gyoza: its always smart to think and ask questions first before you do something right ? im sure you ask a lot of question when you buy a house. That doesnt necessarily mean that you cant afford the house.

Thanks for the replies guys =)

Im 26, insurance is just under $400 every six months.. Maintanance varies.. 3750 miles was like $40 or $50.. 7000 Miles was abot $150 ish.. So thats not a constant.. Gas is in the high $40's for full tank from reserve light.. Premium.. you can get 300 miles from a full.. I doubt I do ;-) XM is $210 a year i think with traffic update.. love it.. I havent bought tires yet but i hear they are expensive.. lol.. Hope this was helpful..
