^ Crap! Hey you still might have a shot. Just figure how much in damages he has cost you and still file. Assign a $$ amount to it and file suit. Ultimately the judge will make the call. You still could get something outta' all this. Just thinking outloud......

Id like to, but im afraid im gonna pay a bunch of court fee's just to make a fool of myself. Without a lawyer i'm walking in the dark, and with a lawyer i'm paying out my eyes.

I just can't see a lawsuit happening. I did kind of want to contact the local news station to publicize this but i'm sure they get worse kinds of things every day.

Ive got this down.. i can fix it. If it comes to a point where i can't fix it myself then i'll look at some legal action.

I got into my car this morning and noticed in the center of the driver floormat was damp.. like A LOT OF WATER. i figured it was one of my buddies who drove my car the night before. We just drove from his house to mine. I took 3 microfiber towels, patted it as dry as i could, and proceeded to work.

When i get out of work.. the puddle is there again!! Now its worse, i have no microfibers with me. My pants are soaked, and as im driving home, i look to the left where my arm rest is.. and on the bottom in the corner, there is a PUDDLE of water.

The driver side and left rear passenger side of the car is damp. The passenger & right rear passenger is completely dry..

Has this happened to anyone here? I called off work tomorrow so i can take it to Infiniti.. but dang, leaking in a car that cost me 40k! I can't say im exactly pleased.
In California I used Better Business Bureau before I went to court. The court filing fee was $300.00 besides you never know how the Judge will rule. BBB was in contact with all parties within two days plus it was all done by email from the BBB site without any charge.

I used to live in Deland. There is (assume it is still there) a large salvage yard on Rt 92 just before you get to Daytona. I forgot the name, but in the day we use to roam the yard looking for parts we needed. They changed the rules due to liability, but even if they do not have the carpet (or any part) they are hooked up electronically now to other salvage yards and will give you a price. Not always a deal the way it use to be, but at least an option if you need it.
