Is the G37 a good car for the mountains and track?

Of course, it gets beat the the Evo's, but it's a faster time than the G35 pulled on this track. For a car of this size, it doesn't do bad at all.

my 7at had a little bit of an issue when i took it on the tail of the dragon during zdayz. it was up-shifting on its own after several minutes of pushing it hard. i spent most of the time in high-2nd and low-3rd. in my old g35 with the 5at i was able to stay mid to high-2nd. i guess the shorter gears of the 7 speed were hurting me. talking to the techs, we figure the upshifting was to protect the tranny. maybe a tranny cooler might help me out next time around. just thought id share.
