Is the G37 a good car for the mountains and track?

Its 3am in the morning and I just got back from a mountain cruise....love the G37 in the mountains and canyons...It's not the fastest track car but remember "There is no end to the story of the battle between man and machine. But there is sometimes a bright spark illuminating man's overcoming of a fight that is a part of this battle. This will help lead man to the coming victory over the never-ending battle." That's the quote on the Project U brake pad box. It's not about comparing what kind of car is faster than the other guy....If you spend time worrying about that....you are losing the battle

man, the g35 driver pulled off some amazing shifts. anyway, g37 is pretty fun for open track. in fact ill be tracking my g37 for the third time tomorrow. i dont carve canyons so i dont know about that. stock tires are not bad, but ill see what the NT05s can do. stock brake pads suck though.
Yeah the drifting was especially fun to watch. That driver had some skills. I'm not sure if the S2K was letting off at the end but I was amazed that the G35 was actually closing the gap a bit at the end- especially with starting at the back of the pack. It would have been interesting to see how things worked out if the RX8 wasn't slowing the G35 down in the middle.

nope...never had the pleasure of being an S2K owner...if i ever was an s2k owner i think my head will explode with too much awesomeness as the vtec kicks in while the stupendous handling and non gay-ish roadster design fuels people's envy...you know you've hit manliness when you cruise around in these...

Despite its weight, I found the G to be a great mountain road car. The suspension is nice and planted and the engine has plenty of over-rev. The only problem I had was brake cooling. The oem pads overheat easily when the going gets quick....
