You dont have to pay installation for a dealer installed part! Dont let them nickle and dime you!

For me, I wouldn't buy it unless it had everything I wanted.. the longer you wait the better deal and options you may have like 2010.. I'd at least wait to see what that brings. Adding after is a pain, first you'll have the rear light in the window, the OEM has it on the spoiler. Yea you can get 3rd party without a light and keep the light iin the window but I personally would get it with the car.

Second, don't trust the dealer. My dealer couldn't find the color and combo I wanted either but I got online and searched Infiniti's within 100 miles and found the exact specs I wanted. Did the deal with them over the phone, drove down and picked it up.. pain free. My local dealer happen to call me while I was driving down to pick it up and damn near chewed me out, threaten not to provide loners on service ect. I said sorry but you had your chance and FAILED. Needless to say I am treated well there by service and reported him to Infiniti customer service.

A spoiler is much easier to add than it is to change the color.

The spoiler is really not that critical. I personally waited an additional week and half to get my fully loaded IP with stone interior. My advice to you is to wait and get the color you want because this way you know you won't have any regrets down the road.

well the night has come and gone.....what color did you end up buying (if you bought one at all).....I'm betting you went with the Blue Slate since you saw her sitting there waiting for you!

Let's not forget, in order to make the car just like one that came with a spoiler from the factory, you'll need to change the rear speaker deck to the one without the third brake light. = more $$$ Do it right or don't do it at all, I say.

Ok so I got my car and wow. First off got the blue slate, I think it's a beautiful color and have no regrets, but I was put into a tough suitation because I wanted to purchase befor the end of the month blah blah, and liquid platinum was impossible to find with a spoiler on California, there were 2 of them and it would have cost me double to have of transported then the cost of having it installed after so it wasn't worth it. So I got a 09 g37 blue slate, premium, sport, nav, spoiler and kickplates leased for 39 months for 585 a month 2200 down, which I think is an AMAZING deal. So the drive home was about 40 min on the freeway no traffic. I honeslty couldn't tell I was going so fast, prob going 100 average. I'm so happy with it's speed it's amazing compare to the 35. So yea I'm very happy with my decision, tomorrow is the first day I will have to truly admire her in all of it beauty and ibjabe a lot of getting use to concerning how I drive it and such.

I like blue slate but LP is where it's at. I haven't seen 1 other LP in Nova yet. I don't think you'll be disapointed by blue slate at all though.
