Totally understand how u feel now...I had heard "SORRY TO HEAR/SEE THAT" over thousand times in pass 6 months. local police officers suggested dont get 19" OEM wheels again or trade this in becoz im the one who got stolen 2 times (even with wheel locks on) and record holder in Queens area. Dont know why they so crazy and horny for these 19" rims.
i was pretty calm when i woke up and see 2nd times my G sitting on bricks in front of my driveway. I heard the most often words on that day was "YOU...AGAIN!!!???!!!"

GUess what!! things which pissed me off the most was the dealer offered me to buy a set renewed 19" OEM rims instead of brand new rims to lower the cost. I asked him where these came from?? Then he told me these probably buy back from the theives. WTF!!!!!!!!

I guess if you live in NYC and park on the street it not an "if" but a "when" it will happen to you. I think NJ was the other hot state where people were getting hit. I guess the only true solution is some thread lock, but when you need new tires or pads, you're screwed!

Naw, you just need to heat the nuts up to a few hundred degrees and they'll come off....

Heating up the nuts will damage the rim itself, wouldn't it? Just get a tilt sensor, i think thats more efficient.

same here. its terrible to see so many rims stolen in NYC.. it's pretty crazy since this is like the 4th or 5th case that happened in 5 months.. use the insurance money to get aftermarket rims + alarm and wheel locks. I'm starting to think the OEM locks are useless..
