I agree that it is all relative.
However, I am not sure that beast would be the proper adjective. I too love the get up that it has and the stability to weave through traffic. However, I would define beast as being a car that the rear end drops when you floor it in 3rd gear, or higher, and it leaves other cars behind standing still.

hey now! if your a good driver this thing can be a beat. obviously if you hit the gas in 6th gear at 2100 rpms its not going to go anywhere, downshift and rev it between 4-5krpms and you will feel it, i love watching my passenger just get thrown back into the seat and their eyes are being pushed into their head lol Enjoy your car dude!
the car's you guys are comparing to the G37s are WAY out of our league. if i am spending 60-100k on a car like the Vettes/and911Turbo. that thing better make me orgasm or ill return it lol

I think its all relative. I have been riding high performance bikes for 30 years so I think all cars are slow. The G 37 is plenty fast for a car. I don't think any car with 330HP can be called slow.

what are you driving? AT ? or MT ? ... the thing is so responsive, if you hit the gas at 4000 rpms it jolts you into your seat and it does produce power all the way up to 7200rpms.

Well put.
Even on paper these cars are dog $h!t as far as acceleration goes, 5.2 - 5.4 0-60? The new WRX does it in 4.7-4.9 off the showroom floor. Find a friend with a Vette Z06 or 911 Turbo (3.5 - 4 second 0-60 cars), a co-worker just got an 09 Caddilac CTS-V, 0-60 in 3.9 seconds Those are beasts.
My G37S looks hawt, is fun to drive, has every creature comfort I can imagine and is fairly affordable. Take the car for what it is, not a beast...

I'm pretty sure it's just the opposite of that. Actually, I can tell you with no doubt what so ever that it's just the opposite of what you said. In fact, on the first page I posted just the opposite of what you just said. The car doesn't open up until after 5000 rpm, anything under that and it's not too impressive.

this could actually drag on all day. bad choice of words and lack of knowledge on the OP's part.
I would have had a vette if it had backseats and no ****ing leafsprings.
new camaro is an option.

True but have you seen the "dash" on the new camaro?

I like retro and I'll wait to see it in person. I've been wanting a '68 Camaro for a long time now. That body style has stood the test of time. Nobody said the car was perfect. It's the performance and price that have me interested.
*G35/37 = Japanese Camaro
*350z/370z = Japanese Mustang

These days, a car with 275 Torque is considered slow. But anyone who has ridden a bike, I dont care if its a 600 or an 1100, every car is slow in relation to that.
