I shift pretty early. Maybe about 2500 rpms. Usually by 20 mph, I am already in third.

No I really drive until its empty until the dash flash the warning and says 0 miles to empty so that's really empty in my opinion I know there's probably around 2 gallons in reserve but 18 gallons were used.

Wow, thats pretty bad. I can usually go to about 320 - 350 with some serious pedal mashing going on. And im an auto. Buit ive seen with other car makers, the AWD versions tend to get less MPG than the standard variations. im not sure how much of a difference it makes, but I remember that being the case with my S40. My T5 got better milage than the AWD.

yeah man, like the posters who wrote after me, i don't drive crazy....not saying that you do. also, i just filled up today with 395 miles on the tank and i only filled up 17 gallons, so the remaining 3 would've brought me to well above 450miles.

it is pretty obvious why you are getting such bad MPG...you are averaging 19mph which means you are either always stuck in traffic or drive local roads the majority of the time. Averaging 19mph with your mpg is very normal. My last tank I averaged like 30mph and got around 20mpg

If you are not using premium fuel, you should. Regular fuel cost less but one pays for crap mph, and the engine does not run at its best.I get better mph with my srt but I have to use premium gas, and that is 420 HP.
