The manual for my 09 sedan says not to exceed 4K RPM for the first 1200 miles and don't accelerate at full throttle before then either. I suspect the 08 coupe is similar.

Do not go over 3500-4000RPM for the first 1000 miles.

Meaning, You can punch it out or so until you hit 1000 miles, So for now drive normal.

yes the manual says dont exceed 4k rpm for 1200 miles. So I would just follow that.

RTFM! or search...

but to answer your question quickly... don't go over 4k rpms on first 1200 miles and don't stay at constant speeds for a long time.

Well I guess you could just smash in the window but that would leave a mess and the factory alarm "might" go off considering how sensitive the shock sensors are.
