2k? That's pretty early.

Depends on your driving style. I actually get about 25 mpg in my 5AT. Maybe you just needed to reset the average counter.

I currently have a loaner 2007 G35X sedan. It is getting 22mpg. My 08 G37S coupe 5AT gets around 22mpg also. There are a lot of variables that need to be considered with the loaner cars- how they have been driven in the past, when the average miles per gallon gauge was reset and if the car has premium unleaded gas in it, or just regular unleaded gas in it.

When I had an 08 G35X sedan for 2 months this past fall, the car had to have a full tank of regular unleaded gas in it when I got it, because the gas mileage sucked. Once I ran a tank of premium unleaded through it, the mpg jumped way up.

Don't know about you, but I don't like racing to work everyday. I'd rather take my time rather than rush to a place when I'd rather be home sleeping.

I push the car when it's the weekend, when I'm off, or when I'm out and about. But if it's just going from work to home or vice versa, I take it easy - and save gas.
