What was everyone's experience with the dealership when they got the car. Mine was hilarious, I asked for a White G and the salesmen said White doesn't exist on Manuals

lol thats funny mines was normal. they only took 200 off but the car was already a steal to begin with =)

 

yeah he was working for Infiniti lol, after he said that I asked him if he was sure if 6mt come in manual he said yeah. So i just walked out on him and went to another dealer haha.

 

maybe it was a crafty tactic... they probably didn't have a 6mt in moonlight white... therefore he wanted you to buy one that they did have on the lot... lol i can't see how a salesperson could be that incompetent...

some infiniti salesman need to have some training. I asked for a better offer and that i would buy the car that day. Then goes to his manager or something and he tells me: "Alright here is the deal, if i take off $1, are you doing to buy the car?"

Agreed. This one time I told asked 35k for a new g37S with my most serious face and they said "Sir, I'm gonna get fired"

 

The first time I ever spoke to my salesman, he was standing next to my detailed car with all the paperwork filled out and waiting for me. I pulled up, met him, shook his hand, tested the car, signed a few pieces of paper, then drove out. It took a total of 30 minutes!!

There's nothing like negotiating the price of a car via e-mail, and never having to speak to someone in person one single time!!!

 

The guy that sold me my G37S said that the "S" meant it was supercharged. I just nodded my head in agreement... "Uhh huh..cool"... even on the test drive, he told me that the limited slip differential wine I was hearing was the supercharger making the noise. Haha!

when i went to infinti of massapequa looking for kenny(he wasnt there) so a old salesman wanted to help me right when he shook my hand i knew he was gonna screw something up. i asked for a 2008 RWD G35 sedan and he was like they dont exist at all. i looked at him and was like are you sure because before i walked in i saw 2 outside one was 6mt and other was auto.

 

I called in before going to the dealer talked to a sale person for like 5 minutes then headed there. Once i got the i asked to speak to the man on the phone. He then comes up talks to me for 20 seconds see's that im their with my gf and a friend all of us 20 or under laughs then walks away. I laughed at him knowing I was gonna buy the car that day from someone else.

 

when was this? i think he meant new ones b/c it's hard to get a RWD in the NY area. but thanks for letting me know you were stopping in that time

i'll vouch for working at a dealership for over 5 years. it's tough to train some people who aren't in the business and ones who have been i can't overlook them b/c it 's not my job. mayb ei'm the rare form b/c i take pride in my job...
