Does it really cost.....?

I was calling my dealer to check the price of the one year service and he told me it $355.04 and included oil change rotate tires (which i dont think they do on the coupe) and replace air cabin filter. Thats 5 times the ammount I paid for my oil change what gives??

just the air cabin filter change is over $130 plus oil change every 3 months at $50/change is $200. No tire rotation can be done on the coupe because they are staggared and assymetrical tires.

It would only be a good deal if they did it with the ester oil which is like $90/change.

If you have the stock 18" wheels, the tires are the same on all 4, so those can be rotated.

I think Black Betty said that the tires can be rotated from side->side, just not front->back and vice-versa.

I keep forgetting this. That is right.

On Sport, Sure you can waste your money since they are asymetrical, the wear will still be the same if you camber is too far in/out which seems to be the most common problem in their alignment. It would only help if you tires were wearing on opposite sides. For example if one front tire was wearing on the inside and the other front tire was wearing on the outside.

I was quoted $500 for this service because it included the in cabin filter, air filters, wipers, oil change and inspection. I told them just the oil and inspection please because I'm not bending over

I change the cabin air filter on my Audi for $25 parts and 5 mins labor, at most, if I'm being slow. Does anyone know where the cabin filter is located in the G37, I will change this on my own time.

Behind the glove box!

So yes I assume it is hard to do but I am sure we can figure it out. The filter itself is $30.
