Welcome kermit. You'll love the car. Can't comment on the winshield noise as I've had mine for almost a year and a half with no problems lie that at all.

Welcome Kermit! First off, this car is way too much fun as a daily driver. It may start off as a DD but eventually you'll be addicted like the rest of us!
The windshield popping/dash rattles/A-Pillar squeaks seem to be a universal problem across the Nissan line. However, I believe most of the complaints on here are from the 08 people (like myself, yes I have the A-pillar squeak...turning up the music is a quick fix). Although, there was little changed from 08-09..7AT, self healing paint etc. Good luck with your decision!!!

P.S. DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT

Pull the trigger! You'll love the car! And I haven't had a single "windshield pop" in my 3 months of owning my '09.

Maybe the issue was addressed for the '09's?
