Service at Nissan Dealerships?
So I was just wondering, could I take my G37 in for warranty service at a Nissan Dealership? There are multiple Nissan dealerships in my area, but only 1 infiniti dealership. The infiniti dealership is an absolute crock pot for crooked car cackles.... I was thinking with the Nissan 370Z having a lot of shared components maybe I could just take it there and have them work on it.

Besides their ability to do warranty work that a Nissan dealer cannot, IMO, there are other reasons to go to an Infiniti dealership:
• They’re more apt to have Infiniti parts on hand, saving time.
• Their service people, having a history of seeing many Infinitis before, are better qualified and have more expertise in dealing with specific issues.
• They can easily complete recall work, if appropriate, while you’re there.
• They have a history of your specific car; useful data if you eventually trade it in to them (assuming it’s been well cared for and the maintenance schedule has been followed).
• You get free coffee and donuts (my old Nissan dealer never did that).

We have fresh pastry in the morning and a cappuccino machine as well as soft drinks. If you go in at the right time of morning when someone is about to make a run, they'll offer to get you Starbuck's.

this thread makes me so excited to go get my girl's first oil change Friday morning......but i've seen the service area at my stealership......a few nice chairs, an LCD TV that's probably been on for a few years.....and you get to ask for drinks. Needless to say I'm getting my loaner, posting notes in my car NOT to wash it, and heading to the gym.
