The all-weather mats are 100% rubber, correct? No carpet layer?

The coupe has a little post by the base of the seat that keeps it down.. no other tabs or anything.. it swivels on that post and thats where the problem is..

Same problem here. The post has a hole through the middle and I use a small stainless steel hairpin cotter pin to lock it in place. Ugly, but works.

After skimming through this thread, I really think that the mat only moves if you drive a certain way.

Some people's foot is completely off the floor when they push in and let out the clutch (how I do it) and some people's heel is in contact with the floor/mat at all times when pushing/letting out the clutch (I have a friend who does this). I think the latter is the group that has the problem with the moving mat.

Since I'm in the former group, I have no problems so far. Also the people in the latter group, if they don't have the all-season rubber mats, they tend to have a spot on the mat right below where the clutch should be worn out because they rub their heels against it at all times.

Ah I see. I'm 6'1 with a 11 and half sized feet. How's your head room btw?

Yes it is only in 6MT because there's no clutch in the autos...

Anyone can make this a problem. Hell I can go out there and slide my floormats around all day. What they're talking about it is clutch pedal usage. With heel to floor in a MT (the way some taller people drive) your foot tends to turn with overpronation (toward the brake pedal, for all intensive purposes) which causes your planted heel to slide the the mat around. So no, AT is fine.

Haha that's cool, good deal. Just watch out for those big bumps/holes and your head!

i have the 6mt... and am not having this problem. and both of my heels dig into the mat. (clutch side and throttle side). So maybe its offsetting the rotation??

All weather floor mats from Infiniti rock! Deep Grooves to catch water, snow and dirt, but perfectly spaced to clean easily with a cloth and cleaner.
