Not only does it move around, the floor mats are thin, brittle, cheap and shoddy looking. I posted a thread about it a long time ago, but I ripped one in half Incredible Hulk style by accident. All I did was grab it on the end and shake it a little to get the loose dirt out of it and it rips in half. I did do the velcro thing and it helps but still doesn't solve the problem. I got some industrial strength vlecro at Lowe's. It's about 2" by 3" or so. Put one side on the flat black plastic piece at the base of the accelerator pedal and scraped the nibs off of the back of the mat and it holds better but still not like it should. I have torn the grommet out of the mat and it looks like crap. I took the first set back and got them to replace it under warranty, I doubt they'll do it again. Getting the all weather ones next. Where is the best place to purchase them?

EDIT: Found the earlier thread I was ranting about here. I trashed Infiniti on the customer satisfaction survey on this one. No excuse for them to be so poorly designed and constructed IMO. A versa has better mats. Seriously.

Totally agree. The mats are completely unacceptable for a car of this caliber. My Civic Si had far superior mats....

I complained to my dealer about this and they gave me a new set of mats. I haven't had a chance to put them in yet

I have a 6MT, but I either I don't have this problem or I've never noticed it.

I have a 6MT and have no such issue when I had the original floor mat.

The OEM All-weather mats will eventually wear out near the clutch area so I don't suggest that (I wore one out all the way in about 12k miles).

Currently I have the WeatherTeach HD All weather. Top notch product! Definately worth it and will not worn out.

My g35 had that problem. So does the g37. The tab ended up breaking on the g35.

Seems like it is very driver dependent.... how are you guys shifting anyway? You guys must have your entire heel digging into the mats to rotate them so much.

No problems here. I bought a cheap 2$ rubber mat that fits right below the pedals and I place it on top of the stock carpet mat. This way I dont have my heels dig into the carpet over time. So far so good.
