Self healing clear coat question...

Self healing clear coat question...
My girlfriend's dog jumped up on my passenger door and left two long, wide scratches that aren't deep, but it looks like a wire brush was swiped over it.
I can barely feel the scratches with a finger nail... Are these too deep to hope that the self-healing clear coat will repair itself? The car also rarely sees the sun (it's garaged both at home and at the office).
Thanks!

Don't mind all the dust - she needs a bath!!

Self healing properties usually only work on fine hairline scratches and swirl marks. I'm guessing this was a relatively big dog, so you might be SOL...
I guess you'll know within the next several days. Hope it works out.

Yes, we need pictures to give you more advice. But to be honest, you need to leave it in the sun for it to heal or try using a blow dyer on warm heat moving it back and forth in a continuous motion, try not to concentrate on one area. but give us some pictures first!

It noticeably works for me.
It doesnt mean the car is swirl-free, but it actually helps a lot to keep away from swirls under daily driving.
Two of my friends have 08' G and 08 EX(it has a self healing paint too) and when we parked together in a parking lot, EX and my G has significantly less swirls than 08' G under the sunshine. And, both G have almost same miles. The EX has much more than us.
