S Owners

Just out of curiosity, when you guys drive by a regular G37, do you guys think "to bad its not an S" haha or is it just me? Lets be honest too.

No offense to the Non-S drivers, i got mad love for all the Infiniti's out there. =)

Nah, A G is G to me. But I get mad looks from non-S owners though a bunch of times.

I have yet to see a non S on the road. Including my own, I've only seen 5 so far. To answer your question, I don't think I'd think twice about it.

What a stupid question. A person buys an G37 because that's what they want and you never know what's planned in upgrades. There's a few here that bought base G's because they didn't want a sunroof or whatever. They've got big upgrade plans though.

That's a stupid statement. I'm sure some people didn't buy S's because it wasn't in their budget to spend the extra lump of cash on extras that come on the S.

One of my bestfriends recently bought a G, and his parents were oblivious to see the "big difference" in the models, so he was forced to purchase a regular G.

I actually wanted to come out of the dealer with just the base model~ $35k vs Journey~$42 vs. S-package~$45. But fortunately they didn't have a base model and I came out with a Journey with 19" wheels. Which was perfect, cuz that's all it matter to me at the time. Like I said in my previous post, that I do regret not getting the S package though.

I'm way over my head with the payment as is, so I don't think the S package was in the budget.

I would never buy the base model of anything, especially a car. Why would you ever NOT want features? I would have gotten every option available on mine if they had had one on the lot. As an answer to the question, I can't help but look a little down on any base model car I see on the road, not just a G (think Civic DX or BMW 328i etc)....

damn, you got some high standards! I have a bone stock base model 09 Toyota Corrola. It doesn't even have power locks or windows. It was took some time to get use to. The wife uses it as a commuter during the week.

My friend told my since I didn't get the S-package on the G37, that I should have gotten it on the Corrola. LOL

Depends on your goals. Most people are satisfied with their S if they don't plan on doing much to their cars. There are plenty of people who buy base G's and plan on dumping hella money into parts.
