Really?? Over a grand?? I thought shipping a car overseas isn't even that much more (my uncle did recently, he paid tax up the @$$ but said the shipping cost wasn't that bad).

Yeah I'd drive it myself if I were you. Why on earth did you buy it from so far away? Used?

I'm looking at cars 700 and 300 miles away from me because they're used in the color/options I want. If I can't get it in town, why not go elsewhere for it, especially with the deals from the economy.

Well 300 and 700 is a big difference. 300 is a lot easier to drive. How much are you saving that far away? Is the savings worth the miles incurred + gas + your time, or the shipping cost?

fly up and drive it down man. that is the easiest way. You could also get a buddy to take his car on a road trip with you and see some sights during the trip.

FYI: It costs $2700 to ship a car from Hawaii to Norfolk, $2200 from Hawaii to New Orleans, and $900 from LA to Hawaii. Personal experience

Hmmm you could buy mine, I'm in KS. I'm slightly entertaining the thought. I have Nav too though. It's nice, it seems Athens Blue is a bit more rare of a color for the G37.

I bought my car out of state. Flew down and drove it back 1100 miles. Airfare and gas was cheaper than having it transported back. However, if you must transport it back, check out these companies.

- United Road
- Express Auto Transport
- DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers)
- FedEx Custom Critical
- Autotransportbyrail.com

Good luck!

I shipped my car from Anaheim, CA, to Houston, Tx for $740 total. If interested let me know and I'll give you details of who I used.
