Well I was coming back from Pei Wei today to go back to work, and I was minding my own business listening to music stopped at a red light. There was a huge truck behind me which was stopped also, and everyone in front of me was stopped also. I look down to send one of my friends a text, and feel a bang. The damn GMC company truck behind me nailed me. I was pissed as hell! I was ready to deck someone. I get out of the car and thought it was worse. He only got the bumper, but it pisses me off bc I just fully detailed the interior and exterior of the car this weekend. I take so much time to take care of my car for someone to carelessly hit my car. He said his foot slipped off the brake and he didn't realize it. We called the cops, the guy was real nice about it. He's paying for all the damages.

The Florida Highway Patrol loved my car, kept asking me about the rims, but told me the black tails had to go lol. I've never gotten trouble with them bc u can still clearly see the light through them so I'm not taking them out for now.

How much can I expect for the estimate to be? I definitely need a new bumper. It has holes poked all over the back and stress cracks everywhere.

 

I feel for both of you guys (you and the G, Not the truck driver).. Your car is sexy as folk.

yeah it's real minimal and i'm really surprised how he didn't hit my trunk or tail lights. i'm still really pissed though. i hate looking at it in the garage now.

Dam J?!! Thought you're whole rear was smashed but I would still b extremely pissed for any ding on my car cause I take excellent care of by car as well. Bright side you are ok and car will b good as new in no time !!! Glad the FHP loved your ride it is pretty sick !!!! Wheels are amazing .

 

Hmmm...I would think it'd be more, no? Painting the bumper itself costs over half that.

Either way, good thing the other guy is being cool about paying for it. As long as you don't have any frame damage, which doesn't seem to be the case, you're good to go. Sorry to hear about this man, hope you get it resolved soon.
