I live in Germany and work out of the Mid and and Europe. I have seen both, U.S. version and Mid east and European version, there is no difference in the exterior or interior, maybe lights and speedo, thats about it. Also (as I've mentioned on another thread) the Nav system is different, which is stupid to me!! Now what you might want to check is the braking system, most of the time companies upgrade the brakes, but I'm not sure.

I'll trade you a US-spec female passenger for your Swiss-spec female passenger :P

So I tested the G37 this morning and im amazed how easy it is to drive. Most of our cars are 4x4 so driving a coupe was a nice/smooth experience and im ready to buy one asap!
The salesman who is also the accounting manager came along with me but after 10mins or so he received an important call sod drove him bring him back & he let me keep the car so for a good 25mins had it all to myself.
On my way back an 09 U.S. spec 6sp had arrived (obviously took a look) and first thing i noticed it had smaller breaks, EU didnt have orange reflector but it had two metallic ***** below the shifter for heated seats that the U.S. didnt have. What really dissapointed me was the exhaust note and thats the thing I was excited about the most It wasnt as loud and I just couldnt hear the damn thing the roar just wasnt spicy evough!! I event put the window down and still wasnt impressed. Why did they change it & is that the reason why its putting down less HP?

Fully loaded its 68'306$ (80'455chf) so im now even more convinced tp buy a US spec but what am I gonna do about the NAV? Is there a way to tear the car aprt to change it lol? I know its possible!
Thats the only thing bugging me...

EDIT: Theres one more thing, the display screen!! I asked him if it was touch and he said NO. What kind of s**t is this? They say the're changing the interior to meet EU standards & expectations and take out features? Doesnt make sense to me

What you saw is not probably an 09 US spec, but an 08 Journey with no sport package. All 09 US have the heated seats ***** instead of buttons and the ones with the sport package have 14" brakes. Bigger brakes that those will probably not fit under the 19" wheel.
