No the G's are notorious for getting that mildew smell in the cabin air filter. You may just want to replace the filter and try turning your AC off a minute or two before you have to shut your car off. The heat from the engine will dry the condensation and keep it from getting the mildew smell.

Sucks to have to live with it... especially when my sisters Civic or Rx300 after 8 years never have a smell. luxury cars of all things shouldn't have a AC smell.. i hate it when mine smells bad.
I'm gonna take it to the dealer when i get a chance.

spray some lysol in your ac intake vents (right below the windshield on the outside). that should help to kill some of the baceria that develops from condensation. run the ac on full with outside circulation while you do this. there are some commercial products that can do this, but lysol works fine too.

Up to my present 4K miles, I notice an slight odor when getting in the car, when cold, that smells just a touch like that given off by an electrical circuit that overheated. The odor disappears quickly. Everything electrically related seems to be working fine. Since the human nose can get turned off by some chemicals after exposure (see Hydrogen Sulfide), I think a laboratory mass spectrometer would be needed to detect this one.

EZ Fix:
Let the Fan run without the AC on for about 30 seconds before you turn off the car (just turn AC off as you pull in to where you're going; it'll still blow cold)
The smell is from bacteria that uses moisture from a cold compressor to metabolize. No cold compressor = no condensation = no smell.
