Bought brand new the Saturday after Thanksgiving 2008. Never figured the accident had anything to do with it till the service advisor was asking. I will DEF pursue Lemon if possible; with the fact that the issue is cured by jumping the car - if it is the module they think was damaged by the accident - my lawyer told me they have an argument.
So I'll see what goes down. Lawyer said that if the module is OK then Lemon Law goes into affect. So I will keep my fingers crossed! LOL!
I purchased the car new November 2007 and the accident to the passenger side was April 2008.
I don't see how this qualify for lemon because symptom doesn't show up AFTER the accident. Get them to fix it correctly or the insurance should have totaled it.
Your symptoms do sound exactly like a screwy BCM. I hope that fixes your problem because that solution will be a whole lot easier than getting it replaced under a Lemon Law. Good luck either way.

The BCM passed all tests the last time it was there but the car was acting normal!
Had no reason to assume the accident was the culprit cause the car was acting normal after the accident. Its been nearly a year SINCE the accident and repairs.
