09 7AT times?

Great question. I wish there was some times posted for non-X Gs...
The only time I saw was for the 2009 X - Motorweek reporting 5.2 sec and Motortrend reporting 5 sec. Please don't quote me on those times.

Assume at least similar time for the RWD. It should be lighter but maybe the X allowed for a little more traction off the line

I guess it's for Sedan but should be comparable to coupe??

Here's an 08 5 speed against 335:

Hopefully, we've narrowed the spread with the 7 speed??

I have the 08 5AT G37 and a friend has the 09 7AT. Although, I told him he should probably break the engine in a little - he still wanted to put them up against each other. He was probably two car lengths ahead by 120km/hr which pissed me off a lot. Not sure on the times - but it seems noticeably quicker than the '08 (at least my '08).

^^Don't fret about the EU model 0-60 times. Not sure what it is about EU models, but even the 335 coupe has been quoted at 5.5 sec to reach 60mph from Top Gear magazine. Not sure if its the different emission regulation on the exhaust or just different gasonline, but the EU models are noticeably slower.
In the Middle East I believe the G37 is rated at 350hp, and not much performance difference. Anyone on here from ME?

I, too, have been eager to see any "official" test times for the '09 coupe (non-X) with the 7AT. The only one that I've seen thus far is one from Popular Mechanics (http://www.popularmechanics.com/blog...s/4306387.html). In this article, they test the 2009 7AT G37 coupe vs. the 2010 Hyundai Genesis coupe.
In this comparison, they pulled a 5.69 0-60 and a 13.90 quarter-mile @ 101.2. I'm not familiar with Popular Mechanics testing, so I don't know if they normally get "good" times or not, but I am a bit disappointed...especially in light of the G37 sedan's reported times and the G37x's reported times.
