Miles till I can Push it

Hey guys, as some of you may know from my last post! im new to the board! So far i got 500 Miles on my g-coupe. How many till i can push it a bit? a few people told me 1000 but i dunno. What do you guys think?

1200 miles is the safest... At leaset that's what I did...

Refer to the manual but some don't believe in break-in period and say your engine is already properly broken in from the factory so you can do whatever you want with it now, others follow the 1200mi rule.

for the first 500 i was easy on the car.. from 500-900 (where I am at now) I once and a while give it some good gas pedal pressure but I dont bawlz out floor it or try to race anyone.. I have done this with all my cars and they have all be fine..

1000-1500 miles, just keep it under 4k.

i waited until 1250 to gun it a bit. still didn't go WOT until my first oil change.

My G37 rolled over 500 miles on the way to it's first autocross. Seems fine.
