Automobile Magazine 8 Month Review of '08 G37S

Automobile magazine has been driving an '08 G37S since the summer of 2008.

They have featured an article in their March edition on the past 8 months with the G.

My scanner is not top of the line so you may need to right click and save each pic to magnify in order to read it without the fuzzy.

I read that. I did not follow about the coarse engine? But I actually agreed on the stock clutch....I drove the 6MT on test drive, but went with the 5AT. Still like mine, but I don't get to drive all the cars they do.

I did not get that either, but not sure what they were comparing it to.

I know what they mean by coarse engine but honestly, so what? I like the fact that the car has a little bit of an edge to it. Also, I agree that the 6MT is a little difficult to drive smoothly but it just takes some getting used to. What I don't understand is their complaint about a lack of steering feel. Maybe it has to do with the 4 wheel steering on their car, but my car's steering has alot of feel and is perfectly weighted IMO.

Also, were these guys too stupid to realize that the seatbelt extender can be angled up and down to change the height of the belt? Some auto journalists need to get their heads out of BMW's azz.....

Great scan, good review. Fairly accurate review and good eye with the seat bubble. Terrible leather. Maybe they'll change it for the 2010 model? Also, "....quick reacting ipod interface." Did they have 4 songs on their iPod? The interface is terrible.

I think its funny, when I bought this car, I knew it was one of the most impractical car to buy. Its Rwd which means its horrible in the snow, its sucks gas like water, requires premium, and it has no real back seat or trunk. But you know what? I still bought it, why? cause it was straight up sexy. Im telling you, ppl will never be satisfied, They complain the engines too noisy, but dont complain about the power, They complain about the trunk, then get a pick up, theres plenty of space. Never gonna be happy. Get the Lexus IS350 then, its fast has back seat, has a trunk, its reliable, and its about the same price. Never gonna end, lol

Unfortunately I have heard a lot of reports about the 6MT feeling unrefined and allowing for excessive NVH in the cabin. This was the case with the sedan as well. Real motorheads love the tranny because it gives the car a raw feel but Infiniti really needs to refine the MT tranny to be more suited to a car in this class because these types of reviews don't help its cause.
