NEVER valet your car!!!

Sucks when you have to wake up to something like this.

Went to LA last night to get some korean food in K Town. Afterwards, went to a bar to grab a beer and play some pool. After that, went to Life Plaza to grab some orange slush. Somewhere in between that time (I'm thinking most likely the bar where I had to valet), my back bumper scraped something. My guess is a wall because there's a white residue, but I'm not really sure. SO FRACKIN PISSED!!!

I'm trying to look on the bright side since it coulda been much worse. But still, I've learned my lesson. Avoid driving and parking in LA, and DEFINITELY avoid valet.

Anyway, I'm going to wash my car right now and assess how bad it truly is. As much as I want to repaint the bumper, I feel like it's not worth doing for something like this (can't really tell from far, plus the white stuff will come off). More to come...

ouch, sorry =[

I tend to valet a lot around Irvine in the nicer places (if rich old dudes can trust valet with their Astons, Bentleys, etc. then I should be okay..right?), but yeah I definitely HATE driving around k-town and just LA in general with the inconsiderate drivers and not to mention last time I was in k-town there were like gigantic pot holes everywhere ;x

Hope it'll get off easily, good luck.

Before I valet, I go where the cars are being parked and watch a few minutes. If I see abusive behavior, I don't valet. I was at a restaurant one nite and the valet lot was a block away. I went there. I saw cars being spun out, I saw cars run over dips and pitholes at high speed...no way they were gonna get my car. I woulda killed someone.

Definitely, but the convenience of using valet is gone when you do this. If you could just examine the valet parking lot for a few minutes, its just easier to park it yourself.

Step back and look at what valet actually is - some 18-19 year old kid who has been driving for 2-3 years at most. Top that off with the attitude that it is not their stuff, and this is what can happen.

Well, it didn't improve as much as I thought it would after a wash.

I wonder if I can touch this up to make it look better...

What do you guys think I should do?
