I'm just a bit skeptical that I can do anything about it now, especially since I didn't notice the damage until the next day and not on the spot, but I'm sure willing to give it a try.
Just say you were consulting with your insurance, and rather than have them subrogate against their policy, I told them I would call you guys to see if you were willing to rememdy the problem outside of your insurance policy.

Naw the ticket in the valet parking is for damages caused before they parked it. In another meaning damage already there and your trying to get claim. Also, you can also ask the person if you can park the car instead of them in the valet parking space. So that way you can be sure nothing will happen to your car.

P.S I never let any one I don't know drive my car.

I hate the idea of valet. Unfortunately I will be having to two times on valentine's night in the north end. Sucks that happened to your car.

Off topic a bit for a second but the dealership told me to give them my slide out key, but won't they need the sensor thing, in which case why not give them the whole thing?

Give them the fob, you keep the key so you can lock stuff away in the glove box and they won't be able to access it.

It's just a hassle giving them the fob only since there's no hanger for the valet to use in their key cabinet. Design deficiency IMO...

correct.

1. flip the switch inside your glove box on the top right to lock your trunk
2. lock glove box with your key
3. give them the key ONLY

keeps them out of your trunk and glove box.
