G37S Front Bumper Square Opening??
Hey there Everyone,
Curious to know why some G37S models have this square opening box on the front bumper and why others don't?? I searched around a bit, but couldn't find threads on this...probably cuz I don't know what the right term is for this opening...
Anyhoo - here's a pic to add some color to what I'm talking about...
Bottom line, does this in ANY way impact performance?? So, if your G doesn't have it versus someone who does, does it account for anything?? Did Infiniti just change their mind on this one and decide to add it or remove it at some given point in time during the model year roll out?
Thank God I'm not this confused about other things in life...

you will only find that on cars equipped with adaptive cruise. that's where the laser sensor is to determine the distance of the cars in front of you.

I like it. It's a status symbol that tells the world, "Hey, I don't have to brake suddenly if I have my cruise control set and the guy in front brakes really quickly because my G37 will brake for me and then it will speed back up to where I was before - all on its own. AND my headlights swerve into turns too, beeyotch!"
