The AWD in the picture give it away as an automatic. Infiniti doesn't have any manual G with AWD

yea the 6mt "DO NOT" tell you what gear you are in.
whoever replied to you before i guess didn't understand that MT= Manual Transmisson

Well the 6mt does not let you know what gear you are in. It's easy to know what gear you are in because the shifter gives it away, but no heads up display.
Do the paddleshifter auto's show what gear you are in??? I had some flappy paddle gear boxes as rental cars and those usually have a display to say what gear is selected.

I'd be willing to bet that KP can produce one for you. He already sells a module with a shift indicator light, but it doesn't tell you what gear you are in.
Besides that kind of stuff is for people with AT.

betty I was looking to see if it recorded what gear it was in for the ecu if so was thinking about how the rev matching works on the new 370Z 6MT
