08 coupe pricing

I recently went to a dealership to negotiate a price on an 08 g37s coupe to see if I could get a good deal, but it seems as though the dealers are not being that aggressive to get rid of the 08 coupes.......

what price do you think is fair for an 08 g37s coupe OTD?

keeping in mind that in less than 2 weeks the cars will be a year old without ever having left the lot.

depends on what options you're looking at. they are just starting to release 09 coupes so theres not as big a push on the 08s. also depends where you live and how they are doing on sales.

keep working with multiple dealers, they should want to move as many 08s as possible.

times are rough, 09s are coming in, you reall shouldnt have a problem negtioatiing with dealers.

Search a bunch of local dealers, email there online sales rep, see who is offering the best deal and then swing by the top two dealers. (if there are many local to you)..which in my case there where plenty, im in NY

good luck

I don't think that's true... To the best of my knowledge, the last of the '08 models didn't roll off the assembly line until October/November. Which means some of the '08 models sitting on the lots are only 2-3 months old. Just because the car is an '08 and the year is '09, that doesn't mean the car is a year old.

Yup, nobody looks at the manufacture date, just the model year and when the 2009 are on the lot the 2008 is a model yearold.

Just bought my G in Dec 08. I was able to get a good deal (below the invoice). I was told by the dealer if they can't get rid of the 2008 inventories by Jan 05 2009, they will auction out their cars. IMHO, I think you should be able to get a good deal.

To reenforce your point just go to any car pricing site like KBB or Black Book and input any car with the same mileage but different model years, and you'll see a significant price differance.

I bought mine in July and got a below invoice deal plus a few things; I would immediately go to another dealer. I just also recently looked into getting rid of my g35sean for an 08 M sport (with about a $13500 discount) and one dealer I called said that I was being unreasonable in my request for all the discounts and the incentives. This proves that there are dealers who simply do not discount their cars like others. Trust me, there is always a better deal out there. You just have to determine how committed you are to finding it.

Trying to purchase a 08 37s (blue slate) all options except the Tech package, to include kick plate. Going out the door for $32500 with 6500 on the odo, getting it from the dealer, what do you think, good deal or not? I would like all comments, good and bad, truth might hurt, but good to hear anyway!

More info on which question? Mine or the orig post? If it's mine, don't know if I can be anymore specific. Buying the car used from an Infiniti dealer, with 6500 miles on the clock, has all options to include kick plate. The only option it does not have, is the tech pack, and they are asking $32500. My question is, is that a fair price or do you think I'm getting beat?

Come on guys, help a guy out, that is deployed and does not have the time to get back to check on the car properly. Is this a good deal or not? Just want to hear a few opinions that's all. Here is the original post.

I say go with it. The car you listed new probably MSRP's at 45k. Does it have rear active steer?
