Sum up your options then compare.. for example, some here may say the G37 is slow, but if you compare it to an A5, the A5 is a snail.
I agree. We have to know what other cars you're considering before we can give you any good comparisons. Most of us test drove many different cars before we bought our G's, so tell us what else you're looking at and maybe we can be more helpful.

Pros:
Style
Quality
Actually made in Japan unlike BMW(made in Mexico)
330HP
refined interior
Best in Technology
Comfortable to drive in long trips
Intelligent Key
affordable luxury

Cons:
soft paint
....................................still thinking.

I waited 3 years for the 08 G37S..My decision was solid after test driving other cars. Nothing else compares....except for the 370z but it is not a luxurious and doesnt have a back seat.

Thumbs up No contest... Infiniti wins

Having owned a number of Acuras (teggie, TL-S, CL-S) I must say that they have the edge on technology in most areas (navi, voice controls in particular). But that is the only area where Acura wins. I switched from the CL-S 6MT coupe as Honda no longer makes appealing cars... they have gone from sexy to frumpy... and with the 3.7 VVEL from Infiniti, they have lost the performance game as well. Not to mention the inherent limitations of front wheel drive.

I have always loved the look of the G coupe... you just have to get by the lack of practicality (no trunk, pretend back seat, and poor winter handling). Still, I have no regrets... I love the car... can hardly wait for summer again.

I love my car and can't believe I get drive to drive it everyday but one con for me are some small creaks you hear in certain areas. Its nothing drastic just annoying really. I absolutely love everything else though. A fully loaded G is the best car, in my opinion. Although, the 335i can be just as sexy lol

Yuppers, if you are coming from a Tsx, you will definitely like the G37. Feels like a rocket compared to the Tsx. The only cons when compared to a Tsx is probably, Gas Mileage, back seat space, and depreciation. Im pretty sure the Tsx have a better re sale value. I was considering a 09 Tsx before getting this car, but Im sorry, I would die with 204hp. lol....

My only complaints with the G coupe is the fact that it has very limited trunk space and winter handling is... well.. frankly sucks ***.
With that said I do have a winter car and I don't haul anythn major in the G and if I needed to I can always drop the back seats and gain some extra room (which have done).
My verdict_ There is no other car with this much sex appeal, performance and luxury in one package within the segment. Buy it and see how much fun you have it.

I was thinking between the TL-S, 335i, 350z, and s2000...i love the way the g37 looks and yes 200hp on my 06 tsx pretty much sucks so the gas mileage wont bother me that much lol...I've gone ahead and told a friend who owns a dealership to go ahead and find me one because there is not an infiniti dealership for about 5 hours from where I live, soo im pretty much buyin this car without ever driving a G or even seeing a g37 coupe in person lol damn this west texas town i live in lol..... im sure from what everyone in this forum is saying i wont regret my purchase....

If you're debating between those 4 cars, then definitely go with the G!! The 350Z (370Z now) and the S2000 are more hardcore sports cars with very little in the way of elegance or class. The 335i and the TL-S are more of sport sedans on crack. They're crazy fast and very nice cars, but they look exactly like 100,000 other sport sedans out there being driven by soccer moms and doctor's wives.

The G is the perfect combination of performance, speed, elegance, and rarity. You absolutely can NOT go wrong!!

i traded in a brand new 2008 fully loaded G37 for a 2008 S2000, why?
the G is a great car, luxury, sporty....good handling.
but it just didnt make my head spin and my heart thump.
The S2000 on the other hand does not haave the luxury, no heated seats, navi backup camera....nothing but a radio....
but evertime i drive it, i got this big ole grin on my face, ear to ear big ole smile, feels like i just came from the track everytime i drive it.
as faar as the G goes you will be very happy with it, it's a great car all around, but just lacks the certain oomph...

S2000 is a nice car for sure..Was just too limited in power for my taste and too expensive for what it offers.
Enjoy it! I know what you mean by having a big smile...

A
