To the OP - if you're asking us as to whether it's a good idea and what to expect different and changed about the 37 - search the forums - pretty much the whole forum describes the 37...There are even threads that elaborate on what changed with the 37 and plenty of previous 35 owners commented.

I went from an 04 G35C to an 08 G37S. I've owned this car for over a year and racked up about 26,000 miles so far. Here my take on it:

G35 issues I had

horrible brake dust with stock pads
tire feathering
rattles galore
sub-par interior
tire roar

g37

hardly any rattles
sexy interior with a ton of gadgets
awesome brakes with hardly any dust
tires were quiet for 20K, starting to get a little noisy

g37 issues I've had

TSB fix for RPM surge issue
TSB fix for exhaust rattle
TSB fix for valve clicking
Musicbox cool concept, lame execution
Premature wear on leather seat

Bottom line: absolutely no regrets switching from the G35

I didn't have a G35 before the 37 but I've read alot of statements from G37 drivers that used to have G35's and they've all been good.
So go ahead, sell the G and get a G

I came from an 04 coupe. No regrets here at all. Had the car for almost a year and still love it.

I personally came from a dodge neon so it's light years ahead for me My bros are in 3 series, 5 series and G35, all 2006 and up. Drove a few other cars as well before I got the G37 and you will not be disappointed. It's a great all around performer and the best fun I had so far. The car is sexy, hence my name for it:

Sex on wheels
