Would the dealership fix my interior rattles?
whats up,
lately i've been hearing rattles on my dash and my driver side door and especially my passenger seat! so freaking annoying , when driving (no music) will my dealership solve the issue, or is it permenant (non-fixable)?
thanks

If they can duplicate the problem, they should fix it. The problem is the "duplicate" part ... they often will claim to not hear it. The best thing to do is have the service advisor ride with you so that they can hear the problem for themselves.

I've taken my car to the dealership numerous times to get some rattles fixed. I explain to them where the problem is and they test drive the car to verify. I leave my car with them for the whole day but when I get my car, the rattles are still there.
Just this weekend, I decided to fix the rattle on my passenger side door. Turns out that some of the clips for the door panel are broken. So I went to a Nissan dealership, got the clips and replaced the broken ones. No more rattles.
I've got another rattle (more like clanking) that seems to be coming from underneath the shifter and the cup holders. Sounds like metal to plastic tapping. If only it's easy to disassemble the center console, I'd fix that myself too.
I hope you have better luck than I did when it comes to your dealership taking care of the rattling in your car. Good luck.
