Perhaps. But I owned a Fwd Celica before my Audi and got stuck every where even with good snows. Montreal has terrible winters lot of snow very icy. Poor street cleaning. Last year we had all time snow record and we got snow already last night. Frankly I wish I could have both. The only thing I really prefer on the sport package are the wheels and perhaps the seats. I am fine with the lack of paddle ****ters ( never used em in the audi). I don't mind the non sport bumper as it is closervtk the old coupe and the prototype. As for the brakes I'm sure bigger is better but this is my daily driver not some track car.

I could easily have bought the g37 last year or so but did not because of no Awd. A friend has the g35 sport and told me winter driving especially given our hilly main part of the city was tough.....

Remember the upgraded suspension in the sport. It makes a huge difference.

Don't waste money trying to buy inifiniti parts when you can get aftermarket cheaper. I definitely agree with you that the sport wheels look great but Enkei makes them and you can get some from them for much cheaper. Plus you can get whatever tires you want. Also, get aftermarket suspension and get an aftermarker bumper. Just get the spoiler added on at the dealership.

Exactly. Of course it will be offered next year. Otherwise, how would they sell any newer models? They think several steps ahead. Just like taking away full voice commands for the '08 which will probably be available for the '09, if not the '10 for sure.

I drove FWD in Montreal snow and ice for 12 years and not even once I was stuck anywhere! RWD maybe a different story though, even with snow tires.

Gonna call infiniti to confirm
This would be a concern and warranty issue if you move away from the OEM setup. Personally, I would never buy a used 4WD vehicle with aftermarket wheels on it and won't get into a debate as to whether it's ok or not. I have seen the destruction non OEM wheels can do to a 4WD setup.

Well I am glad for you. But I had a Celica and like the g37 it is lower to the ground than most cars. Was stuck many a time. Trydriving on some of the smaller roads that aren't cleared regularly and it's easy to get stuck. Or to get out of spots.
